We stopped to look at the Redwood trees at Samuel P Taylor State Park.
The Redwoods are one of the tallest trees in the world. Even taller than bears.
Some look like houses for people in the past and some look like castles. (as you can see in the picture below) I learned that many of them are older than 1000 years old. They appeared on Earth not long after dinosaurs. The oldest Redwood is about 2,200 years old!!
At Samuel P Taylor State Park, we saw people having a picnic and some stayed overnight for camping. It looked like a lot of fun to be there.
